Our Services
A Mother’s Touch Breastfeeding & Lactation Support provides compassionate, evidence-based care for new and expecting mothers. As a Certified Lactation Counselor, I offer in-home and virtual visits (up to 50 minutes), many of which are covered by insurance, to help families feel confident, supported, and informed throughout their feeding journey.
Services include education on breastfeeding, lactation, and breast health; feeding assessments including latch and positioning; support for sore nipples, engorgement, and common feeding challenges; and guidance on pumping, milk expression, and feeding methods—including exclusive pumping, combination feeding, and bottle feeding. Individualized care plans are created with careful attention to a mother’s physical, emotional, and mental well-being, supporting successful breastfeeding and optimal maternal-infant health.
Serving families throughout Central Suffolk County and surrounding areas, I provide expert guidance, practical support, and encouragement every step of the way. Prenatal breastfeeding classes are also available to help expecting mothers prepare for a confident start. With additional training as a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, Perinatal Nutrition Coach, Birth Doula and Certified Women’s Health Specialist, I take a whole-person approach to supporting mothers’ physical, emotional, and mental well-being during the breastfeeding journey. I am also trained in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Infant CPR through the American Heart Association.
Who we are
Hi, I’m Lenore, founder of A Mother’s Touch Breastfeeding & Lactation Support.
I opened A Mother’s Touch Breastfeeding & Lactation Support because I genuinely care about helping mothers feel supported, confident, and successful in their breastfeeding journey. Every family I work with becomes part of my lactation family, and I consider it a privilege to support them during such an important time.
Twelve years ago, when I had my twin daughters, I struggled with breastfeeding. Back then, I didn’t have the knowledge or support that I now know can make such a difference. Looking back, even having a fraction of what I know today would have completely changed my experience.
That experience is what led me here. What once felt like a challenge in my own life has become my passion and purpose. By helping other mothers overcome obstacles and find success, I’m able to turn that experience into something meaningful.
With additional training as a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, Perinatal Nutrition Coach, Birth Doula, and Certified Women’s Health Specialist, I take a whole-person approach to supporting mothers’ physical, emotional, and mental well-being during the breastfeeding journey. My goal is not only to provide practical feeding guidance, but also to ensure that every mother feels emotionally, mentally, and physically supported throughout the postpartum period. Every mother deserves compassionate care, evidence-based guidance, and someone in her corner. I am also trained in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Infant CPR through the American Heart Association.
